Sarah joined the International Policing and Public Protection Research Institute (IPPPRI) as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in 2023 after completing her PhD at the University of Hull. She is currently working on a collaborative project with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and is evaluating their recent Think Before You Share campaign which aims to decrease the amount of ''self-generated' child sexual abuse material (SG-CSAM)' on the internet.

She has extensive experience of working with children and young people and currently volunteers for a national children's charity on a safeguarding project.
