Soma is an activist, author, speaker, and CEO of the charity Everyone’s Invited. In June 2020, she began sharing her experiences of rape culture on Instagram. The overwhelming response led her to found Everyone’s Invited (EI), which gained national attention in March 2021, receiving thousands of testimonies and sparking a widespread conversation about rape culture. The publication of these stories and the Schools Lists led to the 2021 Ofsted review, prompting major changes in U.K. school policies and RSE. In 2022, Soma published Everyone’s Invited, a collection of essays exploring the roots of sexual violence and harassment.
