Dr Somaya Alwejdani is a Business and Compliance Analyst at Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) leading the implementation of global online safety regulatory requirements. She was one of the first female Cybersecurity Consultants driving the implementation of Information Security Management Systems in the UAE. Driven by a passion for cybersecurity and online safety, Somaya completed a PhD at UCL with a focus on the prevention of online grooming opportunities on social media platforms. She balances her professional commitments with providing mentorship to young aspiring professionals in partnership with UCL.
